Arno Jahr (3 December 1890 – 21 January 1943) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Arno Jahr committed suicide on 21 January 1943 when his unit was being overrun near Podgornoye, Russia.
